Meet Bowser

Bowser is an 8 year old male Sun Conure with vibrant orange and green feathers in excellent condition. He was hand-fed from birth by a breeder in Michigan, and has been cherished by a single owner for most of his life. Bowser grew up in a social environment with a companion budgie and was extremely friendly, playful, and outgoing.

Over the past few years, Bowser has become a one person bird and is very selective with who he interacts with. He prefers women and can be wary of men and other pets. He thrives in a calm, stable environment and would do best in a home without children or other animals.

Bowser is highly intelligent and trainable. He loves to chew on sticks and natural wood toys. He enjoys apples and is known for blowing kisses and performing tricks he learned through clicker training. He enjoys flying short distances and interacting with someone he trusts. While cautious with strangers, he is affectionate and docile with his primary caregiver and enjoys head and neck scratches.

Bowser has been well cared for with a mixed diet of pellets, seeds, and fresh fruit. He has no history of plucking or self-harm and has received routine care from an avian vet.

Bowser is looking for a patient, experienced bird lover who can offer him the time, attention, and calm environment he needs to thrive. With the right person, Bowser’s playful and affectionate personality can shine once again.
