Do is a 27 year old Congo African Grey with both wit and wisdom to spare. Originally from New Jersey, he still carries a charming Jersey accent and enjoys chatting throughout the day. He says phrases like “come on,” “hello,” and “see you later,” and he’s even mastered the sounds of dogs barking and backup beepers.

Do prefers women and tends to form a strong bond with his chosen person. He is clever, affectionate, and has a bit of a trickster streak. He has been known to fool the men in the house into picking him up just so he can give a playful nip. He enjoys sitting in his swing, cracking pecans, and eating cooked veggies like sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

Do’s wings were damaged before his current family adopted him, but he is healthy, active, and full of personality. He loves to communicate, observe everything happening around him, and be part of the household conversation. Do is ready for a home that will appreciate his intelligence, humor, and the endless laughter that comes from sharing life with such a remarkable bird.
