Mikey is an estimated 5-year-old Blue and Gold Macaw with a vibrant personality just waiting to shine. While he has spent most of his life with a single family, he has not received the interaction and mental stimulation he truly needs. He is ready for a home where he can get the love, attention, and engagement that macaws thrive on.

Mikey absolutely loves music. Classical tunes captivate him, and he enjoys whistling along. He is friendly and has no preference for men or women, though he may need some time to warm up and feel comfortable perching on your arm due to limited social interaction in recent years.

This handsome macaw is healthy and well cared for. While he is not a fan of vet visits, he is in good shape and has not had his wings clipped in over two years, though he does not fly. Mikey’s diet includes a specialized pelleted blend of fruits, vegetables, and nuts, along with occasional fresh fruits and berries as treats.
